Modelled closely from the seat cowling taken off an actual NSR500V HRC stock[ machine, this seat cowling kit has been designed to faithfully reproduce the appearance and silhouette of the NSR500V but in proportion to the NSR250. This seat cowling set can be installed with both the MC28 and the MC21, (though to fit it on a MC21 you will need an MC28 fuel tank or TYGA Fuel tank BPCG-0001 or BPFG-0001). The set consists of the parts shown below and has a taillight for street use and special mounting hardware and seat pad provided.
The manufacturer have designed the seat cowling so that for fuel tank removal, there is no need to remove the seat cowling, making for quick and easy jet changes and maintenance etc. Note, you do not need to change the subframe for either the MC21 or MC28 models to install this seat cowling which bolts to the stock subframe holes at the rear and special front lower subframe mounting positions with all hardware provided. The seat cowling has threaded holes in the underside to attach exhaust brackets TYLY-0243L and TYLY-0243R for use with NSR250V exhaust system EXCS-0047
The manufacturer recommend installing this seat cowling set with fairing set BPFS-0195 on the NSR250 to complete the NSR250V bodywork style. For a complete transformation of the whole bike, the manufacturer also recommend exhaust system EXCS-0047 and EXSL-0083 or EXSL-0084.
