The orthodox and angular design of the DS-02 bikini cowl is loved by many users.
However, some users have said, “I think a more rounded design of the bikini cowl would be more suitable for the Sportster” and “Can you make a bikini cowl without a windshield like the one on the night rod?” is a request that we received.
The DS-03 is the result of the development of the DS-02 and the feedback from our customers.
Looks like the stock
The small, rounded design and the design that allows for installation with just the right amount of clearance from the bike body, combined with the stock color paint job, makes it look as if it came with the bike originally.
Reinforced ABS is used as the material
It was found that normal ABS resin is too elastic and soft to withstand the vibration of the SPORTSTER.
For this reason, reinforced ABS, in which fibers are mixed with ABS resin to strengthen the rigidity, is used.
