The Monkey 125 was unveiled at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show 2017, just before the final model was released.
The Monkey 125, which was equipped with a special setting for the 125cc engine used in Honda’s Grom, attracted a great deal of attention.
The Monkey is also famous as a model that many users enjoy customizing.
The Bikini Cowl for Monkey 125 was born from the passion of World Walk developers.
The mismatch in size is fun
World Walk has three bikini cowls to install on bikes with single round eyes.
Among them, World Walk chose the larger bikini cowl for the MONKEY 125, which is widely used from the 250cc class to vehicles over 1000cc.
Although the diameter of the headlight was large for a 125cc class motorcycle, the development team intended that people would enjoy the mismatch between the slightly larger cowl and the body of MONKEY 125.
Painted to match the stock color
The two paint colors used on the Monkey 125 are pearl nebula red and banana yellow.
Both are new colors that have never been used on any other Honda vehicle.
World Walk was one of the first to arrange the painted parts and create the color data.
Two different windshield lengths and colors
The windshield is available in two shapes: the R type and the AERO type, which is 30mm longer than the R type.
The color of the windshield can be selected from smoke or clear type.
For highway riding and long-distance touring, we recommend the AERO windshield for its strong wind protection effect.
Street touring is even more comfortable!
While testing the ride, the fuel consumption was 79km / L, which was better than the catalog specification.
The fuel tank capacity is 5.6L, so the calculated continuous cruising distance is a threatening 442km.
The soft seat and the soft suspension both in front and back give you comfortable ride and relieve the fatigue when you drive long distance.
By adding a bikini cowl to the Monkey 125, you can reduce the wind hitting your body and reduce fatigue.
Both Type R and Type AERO windshields reduce the wind hitting the center of the body.
The type AERO windshield is 30mm longer than the type AERO, so the wind blowing from the bottom of the helmet is reduced.
The Type R windshield is designed to dampen the wind around the lower part of the neck.
In addition, the Bikini cowl has an excellent rectification effect, so it generates downforce and supports the installation of the front tire.
